i'm writing from the ee pc 1000he. i gotta say, this thing really isn't too bad. i've had it on my lap for a good hour and a bit, and it hasn't even gotten remotely hot. the battery is holding up quite well; when i booted it up it told me there was an hour left on it. right now the meter tells me there's 51 minutes left. not bad huh.
the only gripe i have with it is the keyboard. granted the chiclet design looks good, and works well, but in the end, everything's too cramped up. there's not enough space for my big hands =( not to mention the up arrow cuts into the right shift button. the screen resolution is quite small too.
but all in all, that's what you get in a netbook. of course the keyboard will be a little cramped, and the screen will be much smaller than your conventional notebook. for a weaker processor and ram though, the machine moves fairly fast.
