[ crest fallen ]

i may actually have had one of the most unfortunate day of my life (so far)

- wake up 15 minutes past my alarm - my fault
- get caught completely unprepared for the weather for a sitewalk of a 30 story building - granted that was my own fault again
- get back to the office and probably redo the same schedule 5 times because of little discrepancies
- receive some messages that didn't bring the best of news
- learn that my best friend may be doing something that i would frown upon anytime else, but struggle to turn against him and convince myself that he's much better than his actions say he is (and i still stand by that)
- see her after work only to get yelled at after making a small suggestion
- slip and fall in a puddle of mud only after scoring an own goal in a friendly soccer game, completely making a fool of myself
- caught pantsless (literally) as we pull out of the soccer field area all the while passing by parents of the soccer team
- get lectured on how i'm cheap and how i'm an asshole, 3 hours after being told i'm the greatest
- witness a complete turn of emotions half an hour after talking about how birth control fucks with hormones and turns girls bipolar (the common definition of the word)

just not a good day. oh. it's 2 in the morning. work is at 8 tomorrow. best thing is, i'm wide fucking awake.

really? give me a fucking break.

and i'm sorry to all those people who have had worst days than what i just reiterated. what i went through today was almost certainly not even remotely close to what some people go through everyday. guess that's another indication of how spoiled, immature, and ignorant i am huh?

maybe it's just another series of unfortunate events for a day. here's to hoping tomorrow is any better, if that's any consolation at all.

i want to write a happy post in this blog. i really, truly, honestly do. but seriously, i don't feel a need a vent or rant whenever something good happens to me. because when that happens, i like to keep it inside, where it's safe, where it can be kept forever. these shitty days, posts, whatever have you, i feel a need to get it out. i feel a need to get it out because it brings me down when i keep it inside. i guess it just makes me feel better typing it all out, and saying it all out in my head. because i guess it makes me feel like somebody's listening.

the irony in all of this is that i'm really just talking to a fucking keyboard.

peace.
