a brief recap of things so far:
- tiff's surprise party on thursday - good job everybody, happy birthday to tiffany!
- starcraft fests on hamachi
- massive snow on saturday and sunday - lots of shovelling.
- going to walmart at 9 30 to find nobody there and able to get ssbb without any hassle or wait time
- getting brawl online and familiarizing myself with new controls
- ... more starcraft.
next up is starcraft. starcraft is always what it's been, and what it has been. though i can shamelessly admit i am not very decent, even on the border of suck, it's still fun to play. besides when you lose so much, the thrill of winning is even greater. ahhahaha. i dunno if that's a good way to look at it, but it's how i feel. more of starcraft the second has been revealed recently, and past all the shininess and high tech sugar coating, it just makes starcraft the first look even better and more fun.
k i get the fact that it's canada, but does it REALLy have to snow so hard? it's like ridiculous now. i can't remember the last time my snow bank was taller than me. what's 4-wheel drive going to do for you when your car's not high enough to even clear the snow..
so its sunday morning. i wake up, excited to get ssbb before anybody i know. i look out my window.
"...... great. snow. lots of it."
spend an hour shovelling, and by now it's 9 40 am. that's ok though, i rush to eb, only to realize, it hasn't opened yet. it's still ok. because there is a walmart across the street. *cue heavenly choir music* i go in, and there is absolutely NOONE there. how often does that happen? nobody in walmart. so you can guess that there is absolutely NO WAIT TIME FOR SSBB!! yes that is my story. and up til now i have been busy spamming the game.
i'll talk about that more later. for now, more starcraft. an appropriate ending to this post.
